Spiced Winter Orchard Mocktail

  • Shake it up in minutes. Sip it for much longer.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Shrubadee Apple Cardamon Shrub
  • 1.5 oz Unfiltered Apple Juice
  • 1 oz Pear Nectar
  • .5 oz Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup
  • 2 dashes Orange Blossom Water (or 1-2 drops Orange Extract)
  • 1 Egg White
  • 2 oz Chilled Ginger Beer
  • .5 cup Sugar
  • .5 cup Water
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • .5 split Vanilla Bean (or .5 tsp vanilla extract)
  • Dehydrated Apple Wheel, Fresh Grated Nutmeg, & Star Anise Pod for Garnish.

Instructions for Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup:
Simmer sugar, water, and cinnamon stick for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add vanilla, cool, strain.

Mix It Like You Mean It:

  • Toss everything except the ginger beer into your shaker.

  • Shake it naked (no ice) until it gets frothy and dramatic.

  • Add ice and shake again until it’s chilly and proud of itself.

  • Strain into a chilled coupe like a pro.

  • Float the ginger beer down the back of a spoon so the foam stays cute.

  • Top with nutmeg, apple, or star anise. Make it festive. Make it fancy.
